Malaga
dominates the Costa del Sol because
it is a vibrant business centre
and thrums with urban life. The
buildings
are gracious and well appointed,
and it boasts of green and beautiful
parks where you can sit and drink
in the beauty as you relax a while.
The beach is only a short walk from
the bustling town, where business
continues at a pace.
As Andalucia's second largest city
and the capital of the Costa del
Sol, Malaga does not rely on tourism
for its livelihood. Indeed, many
travellers to the fabled coast go
directly from airport to beach,
unaware of Malaga's attractions.
But the city has a full complement
of historic sites, chic shops, sandy
beaches and restaurants to keep
visitors busy for a couple of days
- especially those who crave the
urban bustle and energy as a change
of pace from days spent vegetating
beneath a beach umbrella. There
is plenty to see and do in Malaga.
